Professional Development Survey As your professional organization, CEC wishes to be responsive to your needs. The area of Special Education continues to change. With each year, there are new challenges. A major focus of CEC is to provide professional growth opportunities for our members. We, therefore, are interested in your views about the professional development opportunities that we provide. Please complete the following survey and give us your suggestions. Professional Development Format Our CEC Super Conference has been the major provision used for professional development. Please choose the conference format that would be of most value to you. Continue with Super Conference only. Continue with Super Conference and add additional smaller conferences throughout the calendar year. Discontinue Super Conference and only have smaller conferences throughout the calendar year. II. Topics Addressed Traditionally, Super Conference has addressed a variety of topics focused on a central theme. Please choose the suggestions below that would be of most value to you. Super Conference should add one full day that is designed around a central focus, (i.e. Emotional Disturbance, Preschool Education, No Child Left Behind and its relationship to Special Education). Major topics should be addressed at a small conference and repeated at different locations throughout the year. III.
